1. Commodity knowledge – Raw material, sheet metal fabricated parts, Hydraulics, plastics, rubber, forging and Casting.

2. Research potential vendors, identification, and assessment.

3. New product development process with suppliers including Non-disclosure agreement, RFQ, Zero-based costing (ZBC), Negotiation and price finalization

4. Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.

5. Part development process following supplier audit with QA team, APQP, PPAP and production regularization.
