Production Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the
production floor, ensuring that manufacturing goals and deadlines are met
while maintaining product quality standards.
SMT Focus: Lead and optimize the Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
production lines, ensuring proper maintenance, troubleshooting, and
continuous improvement of SMT processes.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of production operators,
technicians, and supervisors. Foster a collaborative and high-performance
environment.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in production
operations, and implement lean manufacturing practices to drive efficiency
and reduce waste.
Quality Control: Ensure all products meet the required quality standards by
closely monitoring production processes and conducting regular audits and
inspections.
Production Planning: Develop production schedules based on demand
forecasts, ensuring resource availability, and minimizing production downtime.
Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure
the production machinery, particularly SMT equipment, is well-maintained and
operating at optimal efficiency.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to
ensure timely availability of materials and components required for production.
Reporting: Prepare regular production reports, including key performance
indicators (KPIs), to track progress and identify any potential challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A
Master’s degree is a plus.
15+ years of experience in a production management role within the
electronics manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on SMT.
Deep knowledge of SMT processes, including machine setup, maintenance,
and troubleshooting.
Extensive experience in production planning, resource allocation, and process
optimization.
Strong familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous
improvement methodologies.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate large teams.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Strong understanding of quality control techniques and industry standards.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate cross-functionally.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory
management.
Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other relevant certifications.
Knowledge of ISO standards and other industry certifications.
