1. Quality Assurance:
o Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures for the manufacturing process.
o Perform regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
o Investigate and resolve any product quality issues, working cross-functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams.
o Manage non-conformance, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPA).
o Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, offering recommendations for improvements.
2. Process Improvement:
o Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
o Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement, using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
o Collaborate with engineers and operators to troubleshoot process-related issues and implement solutions.
o Work with product development teams to ensure seamless transition from prototype to full-scale production.
3. Training & Development:
o Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on quality standards, safety procedures, and operational processes.
o Create and maintain training documentation and manuals for new and existing employees.
o Coordinate with department leaders to ensure training is aligned with operational goals and compliance standards.
o Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed to enhance employee performance.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
o Ensure all quality, training, and process documentation is up to date and compliant with company policies and industry standards.
o Prepare regular reports on process performance, training progress, and quality control metrics for management review.
o Assist in the preparation for audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
5. Collaboration & Communication:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, and supply chain) to ensure quality standards are being met.
o Communicate process and quality improvement initiatives to employees at all levels.
o Provide guidance and support to production teams in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.
