∙Manpower Planning & budgeting in line with annual business plan and
ensure its availability.
∙Recruitment and selection of the Human resources in line with functional
requirements
∙Induction and placement of new recruits including transfer of existing
employees where applicable.
∙Review of monthly departmental performance and initiation of measures
required
∙Performance Management System & Career Planning
∙Organizational Development
∙Improve / develop and implement the HR Policies in line with the business
requirements.
∙Training and Development
∙Wage & Salary Administration of the employees
∙Maintenance of Industrial Discipline (handling of all IR issues)
∙Ensuring the legal compliance of the factory and or other legal
requirements
∙Co-ordinate and execute Internal / External audits and ensure compliance
∙Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory
environment, and taking appropriate action
∙Industrial Relation: Dealing with Trade Union & Participating in Union
Management
∙Liaison with Govt. Authorities Viz. P.F., ESIC, Labour Deptt., Directorate of
Factories, Pollution Board, District Administration, Deptt. Of Industries,
Police Personnel. Etc.
∙Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors
