1. Man power planning:
*Assess the manpower requirements for each department both as a short term as well as long term planning by fixing upper limit of sanctioned strength for each department subject to review periodically.
* Defining clearly the Job Description and job specification for each of the posts as per hierarchy
2. Recruitment:
* Sourcing Man power availability thru internal talents and external agencies.
* seeding the applications according to the job description and job specifications
* Organizing for written test/Personal interview
*Shortlisting of Candidates
* Issue of Odder Letters
* Arranging for preplacement formalities
3. Induction:
* Organizing for Employee plant tour to enable him/her understand various functions of the departments in the factory and get introduced to the respective functional heads.
* Awareness on org chart and Reporting relationships.
4. Employee Hand Book:
Newly joining Employees to be advised to go through this Service manual which is hosted in the Company’s website which essentially speaks about their working conditions, benefits, duties and obligations.
5. Wage and salary administration:
* Fixation of pay scales and allowances applicable to various grades of Employees based on their qualification, experience and salary drawn without disturbing the existing set up to the exttent possible.
*Analysis of going wages in the neighbourhood, Industry standards and periodical review for presentation to Management as an MIS tool for decision making.
6. Periodical Pay revision, annual increments and restructuring of Pay & Allowances :
* Presentation of statistics to Management in various permutations and combinations keeping in view he recommendations of he HODs concerned and the capability of the Company to pay.
7. Performance Appraisal Sysem:
* To introduce and monitor fail proof Performance Appraisal System where in the Employee also participates effectively to assess himself about his performance and take review/feedback from his reporting officer/reviewing authority.
8. Training:
* identification of Training needs of all employees at all levels.
* Classify them as Training needed for improvement of current performance and development of potential to perform a higher levels.
* Identification of faculty (Both Internal & External) and fix the duration of the training programs without affecting regular work schedules.
* Employees can be nominated to external raining programs also if they are relevant to their current work performance.
